1099 Assistant is a financial tracking tool designed to help US-based independent contractors and self-employed individuals track income, expenses, mileage, and estimate tax obligations.

The Service is intended solely to assist you in organizing your financial data. All tax calculations, estimates, and suggestions are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional tax advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings and should consult with a qualified tax professional.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in subscription fees during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

GPS measurements may not be 100% accurate. You are responsible for verifying mileage logs before using them for tax deductions. The IRS mileage rate used may not always reflect the most current rate.

Paid features require a subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for conduct that violates these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1099 Assistant from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
